Dr. Patricia Akers

Dr. Pat Akers is a facilitator of teaching and learning with 34 years experience working with teachers and staff in community colleges.  She is the owner of P.A. Training Solutions whose mission is to partner with educational organizations, and individuals to deliver quality custom designed training to promote development of leadership/management skills and improve instructional design.   One of her major accomplishments includes the development and facilitation of the 23-year old NC Community College Leadership program that has graduated 800+ community college leaders. Dr. Akers received her doctorate degree in curriculum development and evaluation from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her facilitation skills and passion for learning are characteristics that have led to her success.
