Characteristics of the COMPASS test are listed below. |

Students take three parts. (Reading,
Writing and Math. with math skills broken into Pre
Algebra and Algebra scores.)

Test is adaptive -- student skill level helps
determine the pattern and difficulty of the
questions asked.

Test is untimed and students can spend as long
as they need on each section.

Test are not scaled and raw scores are given
from 1-100.
